CAULDRONLUCKS HAVE MOVED BACK TO LA MADERA PARK TAWN meetings, open to all, are held at our monthly Cauldronlucks (what else do you call a potluck for Witches?). These occur on the 2nd Sunday of each month (except the 3rd Sunday in May, in deference to Mother's Day). The business part of the meeting begins at 11:00 AM and the Cauldronluck and Social part of the meeting begins immediately after the business meeting. This is an outdoor location with a limited amount of seating, so we want to encourage people to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. These timeless TAWN logo shirts are available in various sizes at most Cauldronlucks and festivals for $15. Collectible vintage shirts from past Fall Fests are available in limited quantity and sizes for $5 - $10.
All Cauldronlucks begin at 11 a.m. Moon
School runs concurrently. (This year's Moon School
curriculum is Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall: Pagans Know and Love Them
All. For specific information about Moon School classes, to enroll
your kids, or to volunteer to help, please contact the Moon School teacher at
a Cauldronluck or in care of the TAWN Board.)
Starting in December of 2010, TAWN Cauldronlucks will be themed again! What does that mean? It means that we'll have ideas for the food we bring to share. No one has to bake/cook or shop to the theme, but it'll be fun to see what people come up with when they do. December 2010: Red and Green. Remember, you're not limited to red and green M&Ms or Hershey's Kisses. There's guacamole, red and green peppers, olives with pimientos, chips and salsa -- put your thinking cap on and see what else you can find that brings out those holiday colors! January 2011: Open Grill. Did you know there's a charcoal grill at our ramada? TAWN will supply the charcoal. Bring whatever you like to grill and a little something extra of it to share. (This isn't just for carnivores: meat's not the only grillable food!) February 2011: Sweets for the Sweet March 2011: Potatoes April 2011: Jell-O! May 2011: Old Fashioned Picnic -- just be careful of letting anything dairy get too warm for too long! June 2011: Summer Soup July 2011: Melon Madness August 2011: Rice is Nice September 2011: We DO Know Beans! October 2011: Pumpkins November 2011: Stew-time This won't be your only reminder, folks -- and if you have an idea for a Caldronluck theme, let the Board know and we'll work it into the schedule! Moon School meets during the
business portion of the Cauldronluck; check the Moon School page for details If you were unable to attend the meetings you can view the Minutes.
