T.A.W.N. is currently seeking qualified individuals and/or groups to present at our 2011 monthly Adult Education Series, on topics relevant to Pagans & Pagan-friendly folks. Past presentations have included panel discussions by members of various Pagan paths discussing their beliefs & practices; holiday art & craft workshops; recycling & eco-sustainability; & Pagans & the media. Suggestions/examples for this coming year: Pagans in the military; raising Pagan kids; Pagans from differing paths intermarrying- can it work? Obviously, we're looking for your suggestions too! Anyone interested in presenting is requested to submit, in writing, your topic idea, along with a brief synopsis of what your presentation will include, & your qualifications as a presenter. These are scheduled for the Himmel Park Library Meeting Room (1035 N. Treat Ave.).  Unless other wise stated, classes begin at 2:00 p.m. The room is normally reserved from 1:00 to 5:00 to allow presenters an hour of preparation time, if necessary, or to allow a class to begin early if we so wish.   Our current classes set for the Practical Magic series are:

December 4, 2011: Astral Projection with Daniel Nail; will be held in the large meeting room at Himmel branch library.

January 15, 2012: Patrick Campion - Paganism and Christianity

February 5: Raya Fand(April) - The Lore and Literature of the Dying Goddess/p>

March : Classes/workshops/panels will be held at Spring Fest

April 1 : Ashleen -

May 6: Morgana - Divination

June : "Open"

July 1: "Magickal soaps with Tracy Corbin." She will be instruccting on soap making but, we will not be making soap as it is a messy process.

August 5: Making mead with Davud Foster (Gannd)

September: No class; workshops at Fall Fest will be held instead.

October 7: "Open"

November : Tish's "The Wonderful World O' Death"

December 2: Healing 101 with Daniel Nail. This class will discuss several healing systems.

As with the open rituals, if you are qualified and wish to teach a class for which there is not yet a teacher, please contact the Board.
