Weaving the Pagan Community Together The Official Publication of T.A.W.N. Every issue features Pagan interviews, art, news, rituals, reviews, magickal essays, recipes and puzzles. Published in time for the lesser Sabbats (Solstices and Equinoxes), it will enable you to keep your finger on alternative religion’s pulse in the Tucson area.
Articles should have themes relating to activities in the Tucson and Western Pagan communities, as well as historical research, journeys to ancient Pagan sites, Pagan experiences in the magickal and mundane world, stories of ancestors, family tales, magick, ethicks, animal adventures, and your relationship to the Gods and Goddesses. Tapestry is dedicated to expression and exchange. Ridicule, rant, discrimination, prejudice, and persecution have no place in these pages. Article length should be between 400 and 800 words maximum. We are looking for book, film, and music/concert reviews, and witchy suggestions for holiday fare and decorating ideas. Original artwork should be in a camera-ready format, if you have questions about this, contact Ashleen O'Gaea. (We reserve the right to edit for space and consistency, or other reasons). Problem submissions will be dealt with in accordance with the TAWN By-Laws. We do not accept anonymous submissions. Tapestry is published four times a year. The deadlines are Feb 1 for the Ostara-Beltane issue, May 1 for the Litha-Lammas issue, August 1 for the Mabon-Samhain issue, and Nov. 1 for the Yule-Bride issue.
If your submission is not received by the deadline, it will not appear in that issue. The one-year subscription is four issues, no matter when you subscribe. Cost is $5.00 for a single issue, $15.00 for a one-year subscription. Subscribers are also entitled to free advertising space in What’s Brewing, Tapestry’s community affairs section.
